James was a partner of Lo Surdo Braithwaite for 25 years. He is now employed as a Senior Manager.

With over 35 years of commercial and public practice experience, James has been servicing clients in Professional, Retail & Hospitality , Construction, Real Estate, Importing, Exporting and Manufacturing industries. His particular area of expertise is in the Medical, Dental, Legal and IT professions. He also specialises in SMSF consulting.

James is well known through the accounting professional bodies representing them in tax and state taxes committees. He is involved in the professional bodies committee including being NSW Chairman of the NSW CPA Public Practice committee.

James has twice received the CPA President Award in recognition for his contributions to the professional body and Public Practice Practitioners.

James loves his sport especially watching football, cricket and other sporting events. He plays tournament poker. He also loves travelling and has ventured to many parts of the world.

Taran is highly motivated, focused and proactive professional. He has extensive years of background in advising clients from small to medium sized businesses across a range of industries specialising in Professional, Retail & Hospitality, Construction, Real Estate, Importing and Manufacturing.

Taran’s main passion is working with business owners to assist them in improving their business bottom line which in turn also focuses on the business owners personal wealth and importantly developing a work/life balance.

He has great communication skills and his principal areas of expertise are Structuring, Business and Tax Strategies & Wealth Management.

Taran has acquired a strong grounding in the specialised area of superannuation, particularly self-managed superannuation funds. He is also a registered SMSF Auditor.

Taran is currently undertaking Diploma of Financial Planning along with being an active member in his community.

Valerie specialises in taxation, superannuation and business advisory services for high net wealth individuals and small to medium enterprises.

Valerie has very strong analytical and technical skills to provide clients with the services they require. She has a good eye for detail, is efficient in the work presented and analyses all situations thoroughly. Her responsibilities span from compliance work to preparation of financial statements, tax returns and BAS work to business advisory services including initial structuring, ongoing compliance and operational reviews.

Valerie is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a registered SMSF Auditor.
